Niesha Lanaé Graves

Photographer, Entrepreneur Niesha Lanaé Graves founded NLG Photography in 2002. Her natural photojournalistic approach reveals her raw soul and effortless power, which is materialized through her imagery. She’s subtle, yet her images are bold and undeniable.

She’s a true artist.

Niesha graduated from The University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio, Television and Film (RTVF) and Photography was her minor. As a child she was always an independent go-getter, but it was during college when she honed her entrepreneurial skills and established her own hair braiding business. Not only is she one of the coolest Photographers, she’s also the baddest Turbo Kick Boxing instructor around. You want to sweat? She’ll make you sweat.

As a Military Brat she spent many of her years in the Pacific Northwest regions of California, Oregon & Washington as well as New Orleans and Texas. The experience of traveling and getting acquainted with so many different types of people and cultures opened her mind to many opportunities and possibilities. All of this is what has shaped Niesha Lanaé Graves into the Businesswoman she is today.

Some of her clients include Children’s Medical Center, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, AT&T, Red Bull, WinStar Casino, DFW International Airport, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Radio One & DISD.

One of Niesha’s aspirations is to continue her photography throughout the Caribbean and South America. Walking barefoot in the sand, kayaking in crystal blue waters and photographing anything exotic and eclectic is how she would enjoy her days.
